Thorgrim: I think the model and especially the texture is excellent, looks like you`re going for a  Startship Troopers / Dead or Alive hybrid style. Yet if it seems unrealistic, I think it`s a great model. As previously mentioned, I doubt she would win an Oscar for credability as a solider though. Is this rendered with lightning?

Looks good Scion... whats with the left horn though?  Also, I would suggest tweaking the chin a bit (pull it back a little and make it less pointy at the front).
Yes the chin is not right, and looking at it closer it looks more like some demonish spawn than a bestial lord of hell. I`ll start over and try to get more variation in the skin, so I maybe can render to a good texture and try to use it in Mount & Blade.

Here is a wings 3d render of the new model I made for Blade of Zendar for Darkmod.

I may still tweak this model a little more, making the pommel a little larger is one thing, and maybe the hilt a little smaller.

Nicely done.

Here's some progress shots on the armor:

For the demon, I'd say just render with a white background. Then it can be dark without being hard to see.

Wow that plate armor is top notch! It must be a terrible poly count on that one, can you post it?   :green:

Nice sword as well.

The demon is scraped, I will start a new more serious and good one.

Here is an evil quest sword I just finished for darkmod that is pre-texture. I kind of based it off the witch king sword from lotr but then deviated as I saw fit.

16,408 polys at the moment and I haven't done the gauntlets, legs or helmet (I think I'll do it as a single mesh to avoid clipping problems).

That`s quite a lot, but I think you could render to texture and run a polygon reducer on it. I did it with a model I made in MakeHuman (had a higher polycount than yours) and I successfully reduced it to around 2000. That was including a detailed face, done in Blender.

Got the helmet done.

I'll include a bunch of different colors in the release, as it's pretty easy to swap the metal texture.

It`s excellence. You should try to render it with a good metal texture, just as eye candy  ;)
