I think definetely yae. Its very hard to go through one topic for a mod and search for different things. One page might be screenshots, one might be a progres report, its just very hard to find everything, and it can be very anoyying.
I agree.
Wise and practical words.
some stupid associations on all above
New Mods/Announcements
New mods and mod announcements for beginning projects. All mods must initially be posted here.
I don't see here definition of new mod, but announcements are clearly defined. There is no mater if this is major or minor mod until it haven't playable version. Its place is here and not elsewhere!!! It can not be that you find unplayable version in major mods for example. And it's not matter how big their promises are. Think about this. Borders are quite clear.
Minor Mods
Established mods that change or add some Mount&Blade content and/or functionality.
Also this definition is clear. We all understand, even me. How can we talk about little differences between major or minor through the lens of sub forums? Is purpose of this site lies in clearly represent things or somewhere else?
Major Mods
Large mods that expand or change Mount&Blade with lots of new content.
Playable of course.
Sub forums are not matter of contents and all mods should have some of them, (credits, news, pictures and discussion) if they needs. So you can choose where your interest is. They are also not matter of replies. There can be many stupid things there, not just pure gold (I will not give an example).
Is it so, that sub forum takes a lot of memory? Well you must choose. Do you want clearly defined borders and rules (already excellent defined by Winter), or you will choose most blabbering criteria for what is Major or Minor mod?
Well I confess my ignorance on this matter. I am just random passenger. But if you will just strictly follow Winter’s definition, you will not have any strange questions. You moderators should be example of understanding your own rules.
And sorry for stupid words.
