Wow ! Already !?!

I'm speechless. Thanks again to all of you for all your hard work.

Can I install it over my 3.21 beta installation, or is it safer to install it over a fresh 3.13 version ?

Thanks.

It will work either way :).

Problem with crossing rivers
« Reply #182 on: December 16, 2012, 09:25:22 AM »
Hello,

I am experiencing an issue with parties trying to cross rivers (especially the old ford). I installed the full 3.1 with the sound fix and I patched it directly to the 3.22. The problem exists in the 3.1 and the 3.22 version. Basically the parties get stuck when they are trying to cross some rivers (I noticed the problem at the mordor side of Cair Andros and the old ford). More and more parties go there, get stuck and it creates a real problem in terms of gameplay because some heroes party get stuck there and don't move till they get defeated.

Am I the only one with this problem or did I miss some patch?

Thanks,

PS: I love this mod, such an impressive work :)

Hi,

I encountered some problem in the animal ambush event. The event triggered normally, but no enemy showed up. And after a few seconds, I was told battle won. I wonder if this is a bug in the original patch or in the RCM model.

Hmm, I thought this was fixed. Try and play some more, the animal should in fact appear in the next ambush you face.

Such case happens every time so far (5 times or so in total)...

Anyway it is a way to get experience quickly, though a little undesirable...

Well at least you win, I am just stuck fighting invisible animals and losing.

Quick question.

Is there any plan to tweak the cost of companions?  I remember quite a few people enjoying the companions and mentioning that it was a bit of a challenge to get them (i.e. more of a challenge than necessary).  A while back someone made a mod that would make the companions cheaper for this reason.  Could there possibly be a strategy tweak introduced in the camp menu that would make this cheaper or not cheaper?  E.g. one that changes the cost from faction points to resource points if the player so desires?

I did a clean install of TLD 3.1 followed by patch 3.22. I'm missing a lot of flavour text, mostly rumors and companion text, only the name (like neutral_rumor2) is given.

Is this a bug or something I messed in my install?

Seems like a bad install. Not sure which part though.

Would 3.2 characters be compatible with 3.22?
Are the Animal ambushes working for anybody?
What are changes from 3.2 to 3.22?

I love this freaking Mod!

the animal ambush in mirkwood works for me. that's what it is, right? if so, sometimes it's just one. sometimes quite a few. they laugh like victorious orcs when they kill me. it's pretty funny.

@devs
thanks for the latest patch!

That's not the animals laughing, but orcs hidden in the bushes lol.

Seems like a bad install. Not sure which part though.

I did a clean install of Mount and Blade, updated to 1.11, installed TLD 3.1, installed TLD 3.22 on top of TLD 3.1. I'm still missing a lot of dialogue. Not all of it, but enough of it that it's hard to play.

Are you sure I don't need a file from an earlier beta?

I'm using windows 7, could that be affecting it?

The install order is correct. Make sure you do the actual install properly! Installing 3.22 doesn't just mean copying the files to the TLD folder. If you're not using a working Iron Launcher, you need to do the manual install AGAIN after you uRaR the 3.22 files there.

I've always used the Iron Launcher, never the manual install. In that case it does mean just copying the 3.22 files directly on top of the TLD folder, yes?

Nevertheless, I've tried with 3.1, and I have the same issue. For some reason M&B is not loading all of the conversation.txt file or something, so it's not an installation issue. It does not happen with native, so it's probably an issue related to mods. Perhaps running on a 64bit system as opposed to a 32 bit system?d

I think it has more to do with your name. Mr. Animal?     :D

I'm auto-magically transported off my horse when the animal attacks happen. On the world map there's my horse, in my inventory it's there and in the proper slot, and even in the baggage chest in the animal attack scene there's my horse, equipped and everything, only no horse.

Also my companions don't react to the incoming animals until I get knocked out, then they suddenly decide it's a problem and start fighting.

Horse is probably intentional, companions should react. Thanks for reporting.
