I'm back all,
Josh, I wouldn't worry about the flags as of yet, I need to put some thought into how I want them. However, yes you can beta test.
Screenshots should be coming really soon, I just need some time to organise myself after being away for so long.

I sent the castle brf.  I just noticed there is a "default" material in there which you will need to delete.

Re: The Perennial Nuisance NEWS UPDATE
« Reply #19 on: January 29, 2007, 04:06:23 PM »
Well here's a wee update for eveyone.

I only got back from a months holiday yesterday, however there has been one or two problems that have greeted me.
1) Marsec has left M&B completely It would seem meaning that I will have to do the sabres he was making.
2) Stefano appears also to have dissapeared, so unless he turns up soon we will need someone to make the Tarleton and Bearskin models, both of which really are a bit too complex for little nooby modeller me.

On the happy side
1) Yoshi has rigged the naval uniforms as he is using them too
2) I found refs for the proper highland claymore (not the 1828 model that is the only one I have been able to find on the net) in the British army museum when I was in Lodon
3) I have rigged a couple more uniforms
4) Cartread has made the new indian wall sections

So all in all things are coming along, It's just proving to be a bit of a hassle all this rigging and contributors . I'll keep you guys posted.

Thanks a lot.

More good news!
I have made two of the sabres that Marsec has failed us on and found the models for the other two so I'll get on and texture them shortly, although the heavy cavalry one may need to be done by someone else as it involves alpha channels.

Yeah, I know you would  ;)

I've put the heavy cavalry one on the model requests thread so maybe with a wee bit of luck someone will pick up on it.
The hats are a more difficult task so fingers crossed Stefano comes back soon.

Allrighty then, a wee present to keep you all interested:

I'll slap up one of these for the Engineers, Maratha's and Mysoreans soon and you'll get the Highlander, Sepoy, EIC infantryman, Light Cav, Sepoy Light Cav and Lancer ones when I have all the models from contributors (hint hint Chilly5 and Stefano).

EDIT:

Here's the Indian foot soldiers.
