An ASoIaF signature with a link for our thread on the TW forums. It is, in fact, Hurleur's art for the loading screen.

Last one if you need to feel small, imagine siege battles here.

Sorry Beuse, I didn't notice this thread. If you want more screens of the scenes I made, you can folow the link (world icon) under my profile name in every comment.
I've made a gallery of sorts for the scenes I made so far (or working on).

Finally, I found some more time to work on the Rock. Here is a sunrise from the Rock.

I was inspired to make the round tower and the bridge by a castle I visited in Slovakia. Like the Rock, it is located... on a rock. But unlike the Rock, it has fallen (to Napoleon, methinks)

I have decided, to leave the Bloody gate open, and made an entrance at the back of the castle.
I have pictured the Bloody Gate differently (two tall towers connected with a covered bridge and huge battlements on each side, built into the mountain) all together but I had to make due with what is available in the editor and try to make as a real functioning castle.
I'm finally happy with the layout. Now to decorate and make the AI mesh ...

As allways I've uploaded the images to my server. I have all so added a bird's view so you will be able to see all of the castle.

Nice work on the Rock BTW, I will probably get my infulance from a couple of real life catles around here where I live. For the ones that lack description in the books.

Here are two images showing the opening right through the castle

Nice! It looks very much like I thought it would. I can imagine the Blackfish shooting the Clansmen from the top :D

Very nice work for both castle !! seriously, the scenes are gonna be great to play from the look of them!

On the Rock, really like the pikes everywhere and your inspiration with the nordic tower.
Mmm the back door for the Gate is an alternative for invasion during siege ?

If you don't know this already, for infos : http://awoiaf.westeros.org (english version is a bit light sometimes though)

Not really, I just wanted to make some kind of a entrance to the castle. The way I did it before you couldn't get into the castle if you spawned outside of it.
Siege will go normally with ladders.
I left the opening because I imagined the Bloody Gate as
Quote
two tall towers connected with a covered bridge and huge battlements on each side, built into the mountain
The passage would be (in real life) easily deffended with smaller amount of solders then the attacker because it's narrow, and if the attack came from both sides, the attacker would still be under fire from 3 sides at once both in front and back.
The entrance in the castle lacks moats or anything like that, so i made a small entrance, again... to be easily defended. Like I said, I'm a reality freak.
That's why I sometimes dispair at the options of elements in the MB Editor, not really allot you can do with what is available. Especially Winterfell (with the snow and all). But we make due.

Here is the final version of the Rock, with the Lannister lion and everything else

Now it's time to do the AI mesh....

Also, how do I make a siege scene for a castle?
