weird graphic glitch in a model I made
« on: May 12, 2010, 05:02:52 pm »
Hey guys... I'm new here, so HI to y'all :D

So, I have been modelling a helmet to replace the standard great helmet. Which has gone great, and I think it looks quite oke.
But I have a problem, the model and texture look great in Wings, they also do in OpenBRF, but whenever I go and check it out in MB (warband) it looks like this :.

(Here's the url:  http://img46.imageshack.us/img46/4325/helmetglitch.jpg )
I checked this forum a bit and read somewhere that I should triangulate everything, so that's what I did... but it left me with exactly the same problem. (maybe I didn't do it the right way)
This is the first model I'm making for MB so I'm not that experienced yet, so maybe I overlooked something.
So can anyone please tell me what is going wrong?

It looks like a UV mapping error - or perhaps you have extra polygons merged in there?

I dont think that was caused by M&B.

Okay... I feel so ashamed now. I found out that I still had an earlier version of my helmet in the BRF with the same name, so M&B loaded them both en showed them on top of eachother.
Oh well, problem solved  :-[

So... now it looks like this:

Thanks for your quick response.
