Puzzle suggestions.
« on: January 09, 2007, 10:25:40 AM »
This thread is for suggestions for puzzles, these puzzles are a little similar to the puzzles you will find in Zelda games and things like that. Basically I will put them in the dungeons to stop them from being a little like a slog through enemies. Much more is possible in the new version.

Sokoban!

3-D First-person Sokoban would so totally make my brain bleed (in a bad way). But a few easy levels could be entertaining. Maybe give them a level on top with a glass floor so they can have an overview of the situation before starting to push blocks around.

You have to push all the crates to the destinations, using a minimal number of pushes

Sudoku!

piss people off with a bunch of meaningless numbers
seriously: some form of rune match-up trail

Ex:  in the first chamber there is a "map" on the wall that has a trail of glyphs that lead to the door.
the next chamber forks off into 2 directions. each trail has a glyph in the entrance you follow the one that has the same glyph as the "map" had   (sorry if it a little vague)

if you choose a wrong path there should be a dead end with a group of monsters waiting for you so its not just a minor inconvenience

PS. Yoshiboy, if your confused with this (i know i wrote it down in like 20 seconds) just PM me for a detailed description.
