I dont wanna mess your work up but i think you guys should make a percentage progress of the work you've done so far so people will have some thought on when the mod will be released and will wait depending on to that time

We don't do percentages. Period.

Advanced overview modules.........................................31%
Pointy helmets.................................................... ......100%
Left-to-right stuff...................................................... .95%
Tie-in variables.................................................. .........97%
Things on top of other things........................................30%

There. As you see some things are nearly done, while others will still need some time.
Now tell me which other mod would be so kind as to give you this much in-depth detail into their project?

What about round helmets?

BTW, still waiting for some kind of feedback as to those Haradrim voices. I assume the worst of their quality.

I assume you sent them to DaBlade? Don't discount them yet; he was raving about your other voices.  ;)

He's prolly just busy.

@Trig: Buwahaha, that list is like, so accurate!

Hi, when r u making a warband port? just kidding... How about making the bodyguards heroes this time? so you can have them equiped in any way you want them and last more than two battles... because the thing is that once you get the bodyguards; you can't resolve the battle in simulation... they die there and you never get them again... after all the effort you went through...

And another thing that i was thinking, can you make your horse follow you aronud in the battle field? or maybe call him back? it really suck to have to cross all over the map to find it... and you may want to fight on foot but need to get in a hurry to where your men are been slaughtered... just wondering... can it be done?

I agree, we should be able to upgrade our troops into heroes, but with a quantity limit. Until we reached the limit there should be an option of asking the soldier's name and origins, to simulate the king of familiarity we have with our companions, and then he would be one of them.

Upgrade soldiers into heroes? No way! Equipping and managing them all would get ridiculous, if you could have too large a number. On the other hand, not having a ton sort of ruins the point since you can already get quite a few companions.

Which brings me to a question/suggestion: Will Companions be expanded upon, in story or in abilities? For example, could companions carry out minor quests in your stead? Would a more-realistic version of the companion disagreements exist (maybe just for flavour with none of the companion-relations effects)? I'd certainly be interested.

That's why I mentioned the quantity limit. This would be useful, assuming that death is properly implemented.

Well, that'd be different, if your companions are getting picked off. Would need the a way of salvaging their equipment, though, since losing some weapons and armour would be nasty.

We intend to put more companions in the next release, but we're unsure at this time about what could be done in order to expand interaction further. In case something cool comes up, we'll probably try to implement it, but it's not a big priority at the moment.

Feel free to suggest new companions and/or NPCs you'd like to see in the next release, although we'll not guarantee you'll see your wishes come true; we have our own ideas on the matter :)

Bodyguards will probably stay as they are; you'll already have a bunch of companions to take care, regarding equipment and such.

A wandering troll, up north, and a starving vagabond in the bandit camp for companions. Although I'd prefer to get rid of the bandit camp and move some of those characters to Dale.

Edit: How about using the fire of Orthanc in sieges?
