Do scouts and raiding parties have any additional purpose besides being an enemy presence on the map? I'm guessing scout parties give factions sight over the area they're scouting, but does that have any influence over warparty actions? Like will factions prioritise attacking places that are scouted and things like that?

As for raiding parties: do they just exist to ambush caravans/scouts/weak parties? Like, will a place infested with raiders have economic trouble or not have a lot of troops to recruit or something?

I ask because i often see loading screen hints about scouts, but they're always gone before i get a chance to read them. Think it calls them the "eyes and ears" of factions, which sounds pretty important.

I'm also wondering if clearing scouts and raiders might help raise a faction's strength. Gondor's so weak that everywhere's infested with raiders and scouts. Would clearing them out help them raise their strength? Like, with caravans being freely able to pass around and stuff?
Or is strength just something that's slowly regained over time (if the faction isn't losing big battles)?

1. Patrolling around "Woodelf West Camp"

I have no idea of how to fix this. Probably MadVader or GetAssista may even know where to start.

2. "It's rumored that a single troll can esily [...]"

A letter, pfff, just fixed it.

3. King Dain II Ironfoot carries the banner of the Beornings

Weird. The banner assignments are specified statically inside an array. Maybe a mishap?

4. Foggy halls of Erebor

This also happens in SWC sometimes.

5. In the siege of the main rhun camp, all units are spawning at the same location or randomly across the scenario.

I fixed it in march, it's all in Trello with pretty pictures. I don't know if the scene replacement has been uploaded yet, though.

Quite refreshing.

 Looks like you changed the VOs as well? What about the elves, whose VOs sometimes spoke their language? And the Uruk Hai's/Orc's talking VOs?
All races got their new voices as well. Not much elvish language though, sorry. Battles with Isengard impressed me the most)

using warband

as i visited thranduils halls, i noticed something odd. miriel took thranduils place on the throne, but she was still standing, while thranduil was sitting in mid air.





EDIT: the warg fix does not work, i used notepad to copy the text from trello and saved it with unicode but the game crashes on startup. i dont have the original file so please help?

Fixed the throne room problem in Thranduil's hall room and hopefully others. I can't fathom why it didn't order them correctly in your save, maybe depends on troop count and Miriel had more than his boss.

Now apart from sorting them with the leaders first it will also work for when there's just lords in the scene, without leader, even if the fix for this is a bit more flimsy.

He probably added movie-related music and sound effects.

Just sound FX, no music replacer, Vladan did great work. But almost every battle cry is replaced by another from different  LOTR games. Weapon and battle sounds taken from TW series. By the way, actually it turns out that part of original mod SFX taken from TW game too.
