The terms Goblin and Orc have always been interchangeable.

So, the problem with RCM is the sword ineffectiveness against good armour? Well, generally, swords aren't that good against heavy armour. One thing I suggested at some point, was if Half-Swording was added in, via the Weapon Modes feature. This'd make the sword shorter, but would make it more effective against armour. Magic swords would also be a handy way of dealing with armour.
Dude, I know all the arguments. Doesn't change the fact that I dislike what RCM does. ...That is correct. I just stated I don't like realism.

Also, what Blade said. It's very likely we'll end up with a TLD damage model.

If this seems TOO bad for the general TLD community, RCM could be integrated into the main version of the mod, perhaps? Likely won't be necessary, and can remain an add-on pack.

I haven't played single player Warband yet, but if the combat is as bad as you say, we'll probably try to fix it. However, I highly doubt RCM will be in the main version, unless it fixes everything to my, and our, satisfaction.

I played with RCM once, and it did not make me a happy camper. So unless it's drastically different (doubtful), it'll retain it's addon status.

Yeah, and new hair models. That was is decidedly creepy, IMO. It one isn't even in anymore, if I recall.

We already have an oliphant model. However it will remain a static scene prop, because of M&B's engine limitations.

I highly doubt we'd keep marriage in, in a port to Warband. The romance stories in LOTR all tended to be very long, only finding their happy ending after the war of the ring. Scripting a proper Tolkien romance system would leave the player with much to be desired in terms of fulfillment, I think.

I know you guys are stressed with work, and such. But still, you needn't take suggestions to heart, so personally. From the knowledge we have, the Dunlending didn't have much going on. There's going to be more going on in this release for them? Great, then we can wait and see.
It has nothing to do with stress, only the very condescending tone of the suggestion. You may not have intended it to come across that way, but it certainly did. Trust me, if you've thought of something, it has almost certainly already been hashed out in it's very own thread on the dev board.

Besides, you have yet to show me that your suggestion has any merit at all. Proof or it dint happen.

This line of conversation is dead. Leave it alone now.

The Dunlendings (Ings, not ers) are their own small faction. Whether their fate is tied in with that of Isengard I'm not sure of at present, as I haven't looked at the code yet.

Them being their own faction is not likely to change. I'm sure AW had justification for it when he created it, but I'm not up on my Dunlending history other that at one point, they did challenge Rohan to the point of actually sitting in Meduseld.

We can hope.

Yeah, dumb trout limits. We only have about a quarter of the fish that are in the lore.  :-\

If you had something to offer us, we could perhaps come to an agreement. But it seems to me that you don't.

As Faradon correctly said, we aren't releasing any content until the main release of TLD.

I appreciate your wishing to make a multiplayer M&B mod of course, but until TLD is released you'll have to make your own stuff. It's not hard. As it happens, there's been some talk among the devs of making a multiplayer mod after the release, but no concrete plans are down.

Ah, I'll go with the awesomesauce number.  :P

We've done away with castles and villages. All the locations have pretty much the same status, courtesy of the new war spawn system.

As for voices, an accent would be cool for sure, but by no means necessary. If you have a good voice, go for it and don't worry about accents.

Does Song of Taliesin contain new quests we can look on to see what you can do?

There are two quests right now (escorting bishop and finding the lost flute of bard Aethelfrith), but over 50 are planned to be done.

Edit: So what kind of quests are you looking for?
Hey Kolba, sorry I haven't responded sooner. On vacation and all that.

Anyway, I'm familiar with your work, and it's cool. About quests: we've done some initial brainstorming for different quests we want in, but we've been focusing on the war system for the most part, trying to get that nailed down before we move onto the other scripting. However, we should be moving on to that point in the next several weeks, and we'll be plenty happy for your help.
