I love this mod, but what's bothered me the entire time of playing it is the uh... questionable quality of the Bothan Model.

There was quite a noble effort to recreate them from their SWG incarnation (in my opinion, the absolute best incarnation of bothans to date), however the UVW mapping seems mismatched and choppy, and the hair sometimes appears to have an ear on it at some times. Really made me a bit disappointed that I couldn't play my old SWG characters here.

I bring this up, because I found, on another website regarding the game 'Neverwinter Nights', a near perfect replication of the SWG Bothan model as a selectable head for the game 'Neverwinter Nights'. This pack also included other very high quality models for other races as well.

Here is a Link to the Pack I speak of:
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Hakpaks.Detail&id=7931

I'm wondering if it is at all possible to extract this head from the modification for 'Neverwinter Nights' and use it in Star Wars: Conquest? I think it would certainly help vastly for the atmosphere, not to mention it adds Female Bothans as well.

Anyways, just putting that out there, in case someone else hasn't already. Great mod, Love it to peices, just wish it had a couple of better details ;)

I updated bothan few versions ago

I only recently discovered Mount and Blade, and was at first excited at the prospect of a Darklands mod, since I love that game too.  However, I had to download an old version of Mount and Blade to even play it, and I am curious if anyone out there is interested in updating this mod, and taking up where the original modders left off.  I am not much of a programmer myself, just an interested party.  I'm not in love with Warband, but even if the end product ended up being for that instead of Mount and Blade, that would be okay.
The mod already made is a good start.  Is there anyone out there who still likes this idea?  Please say yes!

darklands is very good game i am interested in this too but i am no coder only modeler

Hey guys.  This mod is the reason I bought M&B, and I really would like to help.  Could you use prop modelers?  I'm an environment artist with much previous experience, and I would love to help build new worlds.

It will be cool, we need plenty of low-poly vegetation for many planets just look at some pictures of naboo or kashyyk

Well, first of all, hi folks, you have been a little busy these two last days writting untimely responses working hard, and talking about the old, single and stupid concept:
<Me>  :green:

Ok, I'll explain this slowly, it's not the first time... each of you wants to be published your work, isn't? well, we're <a team>, everyone of you have unique skills, until now.
Happy Stormtrooper loves Stormtroopers, so he has worked in that... but suddely comes Zahar with his great stormtroper models, seeing his position threatened, Happy faces against Zahar with the excuse of outside models... and Geroj supports him saying that the models are stolen...  ::) Very funny, I understand your point of view, and you have part of reason but you should not undervalue the zahar's good work.

In brief: you should think as a team, not as individual, etc... <The best for the team over your own pride> Ok?

This time we wait for Happy's finished model, post it near the zahar's one, and the team will decide the best. Next time keep organized, say in advance your objetive before it collides with other, so we can create the best mod for M&B ever made in peace and armony.

PD: About zahar's model packs, I believe that Hokie can made a list for him with the NEEDED models instead of give us random stuff.

PD2: This is the wrong thread

That's all, Greetings...

So now we must think like bees? some colective hive mind because we are in team with more people?

A Rancor would be an awesome end boss. Some static guards around sharp corners wouldn't hurt either (especially if they were randomly placed). The best part of the maze was the fear that you were going to walk into someone's gun sights.

My first idea was only one soldier on end so you must walk throught whole maze, not only shoot stormtroopers on every corner
