I'm F'ing down for a BF3!!!
i still haven't lost hope that BF3 will come out, best if Lucas Arts gave it to Crytek UK (formerly known as Free Radical).

Not only that but its been said somewhere that BF3 is expected to be the 5th installment of the series, BF1, BF2, BF:RS, BF: ES and then BF3

ok about the models even for 0.751 they had rigging problems now i'm not a rigger i'm just porting it so its playable then if any of the other members or new members of the team get time and/or decide to rig them then they will be added.

i'm getting there i've been having a few internet problems lately, so while nets been flashing on and off i haven't been able to look at the tuts much but i'm experimenting with python. While being annoyed that its having problems with the textures... mostly taki's textures  :(, don't worry i am working on it just at a slow pace.

if anyone does decide to do a bit of modelling that they want in the mod i'll see about putting it in  ;) (i'm only the one who got the textures and decided to port the mod and with porting the mod the other time i was able to do it with just text files lol)

you don't have to have a finished mod for us to like it, like when it stopped being ported etc to other versions it was still one of the best mods ;)

Out of all the mods... I have to say this is my favorite.  I've logged the most time playing this one, aside from the native. 

I don't see the need for .808 version, if only this one was fleshed out, I'd be happy.  I havn't played the x-box/playstation/whatchever StarWars games, but the M&B mod we have here has a cool Post-apocalyptic kind of feel to it.  Like it's on some peripheral planet in the furthest reaches of the galaxy, with limited access to technologies etc.  I have fun just saber/blaster dueling in Bartertown.  Tons o' fun, but could be really great.

Yes its almost done! ...when i can get items in and you'll be on your way playing it  :D

in releases after portation i'll be fixing up factions, quests, names, weapon sounds and hopefully new terrain

the version about to come out will be native with star wars items and weapons (sounds on weapons not yet), textures (eg look at castle)


NOW i know you've all lost hope and probably do not even believe me so i'll give you this proof of me in latest version.
I'm in Praven castle and i have arrows pointing to: health bar,a table,a wall, a jug and ME...lol

Ahadhran if your going to port the mod best way to do it is just start again then copy bits of script from the previous version and along with all your resources

best way to do it you could probably get it ported in a day just by copying it over  ;)

But in all seriousness YES! I AM MAKING A STAR WARS MOD FOR M&B VERSION 0.901

to kinda prove it i'm actually almost done i started porting it today and almost finished porting it today lol, all i've got left to do is get the bloody merchants to sell the equipment.

DO NOTE: nothing much will have changed its only being PORTED! so faction won't be implemented back in in this tiny update and weapon sounds won't be in either (cause well i'm a little too lazy to get it up (as in meaning i really can't be bothered to count all the weapons that need sound)).

Note to team: who did the texture swap? cause the effect really isn't too bad ;) (iron clad castles lol)

...still not convincing? i can always put up screen shots  (but really i'd only do that if i couldn't get game up now, just to show what i'm trying to do next...thats giveing me trouble :( )

version of the mod is not compatible for 0.894

in a few weeks maybe about 2 weeks i'll be starting the porting of the mod (infact i'm going to give up on porting and just import all the moddels etc into the latest version of M&B ) hope that answers your questions
