The Last Days / Just For Fun: Kham's Animation Pack Submod

Just for fun, I incorporated the Combat Animation Enhancement by Papa Lazarou to TLD Warband.

Personally, I felt that the results are kind of mixed. Its archery animation really suits the elves, but may look slightly odd when Uruk Hai do it :)

I'm not a fan of the Single Handed weapon animation, but could remove it if I want.

Two handed weapon animation looks really good in my opinion :) Quite "fantastic" actually.

Not sure about the flourshes at the end of polearm swings, but polearm thrusts are quite good.

Also, because I was successful with the above, I said to myself, why not include jacobhinds' Animation Variety Submod (taken from his Gekokujo submod). Really interesting results. Hard to see it with pics so I'd rather everyone try it out themselves if they want.

Note that it was quite biased towards mods that are 'pike-heavy', therefore I removed pike movements, idle animations, as a lot of 2H weapons in TLD are considered polearms (Beorning War Axe) and will look strange when held like a pike. Still, the one-handed idle and run animations are quite good, as well as new riding animations.

I made 2 versions: One with just CAE and another with both CAE and JH's Animation Variety submod. (i could make one with only the animation variety submod. maybe next time).

Instructions:
0. Back up your Module.ini and actions.txt.
1. Copy the the whole folder in the zipfile and paste it onto your TLD folder
2. Overwrite when asked.

I included backups in there just in case.

All credits go to Papa Lazarou and jacobhinds. I just made it compatible with TLD Warband :)

Hi all,

I've created a Troop Tree doc based on the troop tree file within the TLD folder.

You can find it here

The stats may have changed (especially if you will be using RCM or other submods), but it should still be ok.

Hi, I posted this in the Apothecary (Taleworlds forum) and didnt get a reply yet, so i'd like to ask it here:

I would like to preface this by saying that I have minimum to no technical / computer skills whatsoever. All i know, regarding mods, are how to install it properly and make it work.

Anyways,

There is a FXAA injector called Himmelsrand that I have been using for skyrim. (I like it better than ENB or the "official" FXAA injector, i also lose less FPS with it).

Just for the heck of it, I used it on Mount and Blade (to make TLD look even more amazing).

I backed up the original d3d9_31.dll, deleted it from the M&B folder, then replaced it with the d3d9.dll of the injector. I extracted everything else in the M&B folder.

Voila.. it works. Pressing the pause button activates/deactivates it.

So now im playing TLD with this injector. Everything seems to be working fine. No crashes or whatsoever after about 3 hours of playing.

The only problem that seems to occur is when I exit the game: An error pops up which states: "The D3D device has a non-zero reference..."

Only seems to occur whenever I exit the game to windows. Other than that, everything is fine.

Tested it on all custom battles (of TLD), campaign map, battles in campaign.

I am sure it has something to do with me removing the old d3d9_31.dll.

My question is, is it possible to use BOTH dlls and will that stop this crash? or is there anyway to use that Injector without the crash? Like I said in the preface, I have no technical expertise when it comes to these. I just like messing around with stuff
