Like what? Like the whole Star Wars world? - Must I remind you the teady bear army or the pig-men guards? Or perhaps Vader's inept stormtroopers...

And by the way. This mod is great, but suffers a lot from crushes and, sometimes, low FPS. I think it would be a good idea (if possible) use distant lods from a closer distance.

Hells but you're an idiot aren't you? Lets see which of those is more iconic.. the stuff from a classic film trilogy or a faction from a spin off game..

Bring back the natural mounts but don't remove the speeders. It would be great to have mounts like baby rancors and the thing Obi-Wan rides in the movie.

We used to have some dewbacks and kaaduu's in the game, but we had to remove them when we disabled the gallop animation to fix the speeders.  Unfortunately, there is only one type of "mount" in the game (ie. a horse) so either everything gallops or nothing does.  So right now we're probably limited to only small vehicles that hover or float across the ground.

I'm still not sure why this is...

Since the speeders aren't animated, could they not just be detached from all bones? Or would the speeder still jump up and down as it drove?

No, vertices have to be linked to at least one bone or things go wrong.

I have details.

He's written a form of converter program. How it works I've no idea, but it apparently converts old brf to new or something similar. It sounds quite complicated..

He's not willing to share it with anyone until his Russian community mod is complete (he estimated winter 2009)

I think someone high up should seriously consider petitioning Armagan about getting their internal BRF edit released.

The fact that you've clearly built an engine compatible with M2 files is also really cool, I bet the community wil like that!

Thats very impressive animation..

my one criticism so far has been that the combat looks somewhat stilted compared to mount and blade.. still brilliant though.

Interesting, he has mounted combat now.

M&B may have something of a competitor soon. The editing tools look impressive too.

Interesting. But it's the same for all ranged troops.. it's not a firearm specific issue, they'll pretty much always ignore orders given. If you want them to line up neatly or move when you tell them, order them to hold fire. Then they'll obey again. Thats why the hold fire key is so incredibly useful.

It's when you start giving mounted troops muskets that they start forgetting how to use them..

Don't try and open those files. They're animation files which BRF editor can't handle. Just export an armour mesh instead.
