Are there any mods specifically for new items?

With most expansions you can pretty much get all the best gear by level 20. i was wondering if anyone had created any high level loot which you can extract into an existing module to make late game more interesting. I'm currently playing the native expansion mod and at lvl 25 the dark knights are still pretty tough, so better equipment wouldn't be overpowered.
Also this mod has a system for building a bookstore. But by the time I'd captured a city and built a bookstore I already had all the books. This game can be played indefinitely but after 200 or so days you've pretty much seen it all. What I'd really like is a pack of items/books/weapons/armour which is uber expensive and uber strong, or even better would be a whole range of items leading up to that level. Obviously this would have to be able to be added to the existing mod I'm playing. Because other than this 1 thing it's a really good mod.

There's no real way to add items to an existing mod without the module system for that mod. If you want to add stuff, you need to talk to the developers of the particular mod in question.
Also consider that superior equipment can be unbalancing. In many cases, equipment has to stop at the end of whatever is reasonable for the setting, because higher level stuff would merely make the game pointless to play. If your armor is so good that nobody can even put a scratch on you, then walking around whacking anybody and everybody like swatting flies will get really pointless and repetitive. Be sure that, with better player gear, there are also more difficult objectives to match it.
