Would you be able to convert scene props?

Of course, they're normal static 3D models... Have you extra content?

Thanks EradiiusLore, and welcome to the incredible world of Mount&Blade modding...
Can you post some work? Have you played/modded M&B before? Are you centered as coder or have some extra skills?

most of my work is based around building games from scratch, like for instance im in the process of making an RTS using the Ogre engine, and will be starting on sims style game using some advanced AI techniques. the majority of the work i have done however is inacessable due to university policy, as for modding i have done no modding on mount and blade however have clocked a good 80 hours on it. i have done a fair amount of modding using game development engines like source and elder scrolls however i have little actual experiance in pure modding, however im hoping my experiance in programming c++/c# should be enough to give me a kick start, and again i have some experiance with modding though my main skills is the coding yes.

I take Oblivion modding as the mos difficult type. Just one thing, for curiosity, do you have anything we can see?

Things you can do: The Geonosis Arena, Hoth Base, Mygeeto bridges, interior scenes for the Deathstar, interior scenes for the stardestroyer...

um  well nothing beyond code, and thats all going to be programs developed by myself using third part engines like opengl and sdk libs, im not an artist but things with the hard code im more then able to do, im close to getting my BSc in computer games software development and i have a HND in CGSD. i could upload some source code stuff i have done but a lot of what i can show is either unfinished or very old, but yeah its not mods if thats what your after they are stand alone programs built from the ground up. soooo if you want to see them then i can get em but it may take a while, do you know much about coding?

Ok, ok... Gaz...  :) I trust you!

Well, first of all, Mount&Blade code it's simply structured optcodes into txt files copiled from python, it can be good if you can get some experience with the Module system, that is the native python source code... the modding possibilities are large, simply far from other games... and now with Warband we have a multiplayer world to discover.

Look here for some starting stuff:

Module System for M&B Orig: http://download.taleworlds.com/mb_module_system_1010_0.zip
Module System for M&B Warband (not needed for SWC, we're working over the classic one): http://173.192.225.169/mb_warband_module_system_1113.zip

The forge, official M&B modding forum: http://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php/board,64.0.html

Starting with Module system: http://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php/board,12.0.html

Semi-official PDF Guide: http://www.mbrepository.com/file.php?id=1101

...that's all... the only M&B tools you need are:

OpenBRF -> to read game resources (animations, texture references, meshes, skeletons, etc)
Thorgrim's Map Editor -> Not needed but useful to mod the strategic map
The game has a built-in Scene editor use Ctrl+E to access it (enable it first in the launcher's options)
Notepad + (for editing the python)

Hello,
I'd love to help out this mod.
I am relatively new to the m&B modding scene, but have already been the lead coder for Age of Changes II. With most of the code coming to completion and just waiting on textures to being done, I'll have a lot more free time, and I'd like to keep my skills up in the meantime.

My real life job includes beta testing for a Motion Analysis software based in C sharp. And I am very familiar with the Module system, but there is always something to learn with it. I've worked on several other modding projects in the past, one of which includes initial work for a Star wars mod for Sins of the Empire, Sins of a Galactic Empire.
i was deployed so I unfortunately had to quit that one early. (don't worry i won't be deployed anytime soon)

Worse case scenario, I'm pretty good at crushing code, so i could beta test, find where the problems are in the python and point them out to someone.

Could you make it so you can start out as a boba fett clone again? Because I'd like to be a clone and still wear headgear.
