One idea. I see that you talk alot about how the knight troop tree could work. In books many men got their knighthood by doing something. Maybe you could make a normal troop tree that would end before knights and you could give a quest or something to some high-tier units. And after a week or two, if they succeded, you could take them to the leader of the faction and if you would have a high relationship he would grant knightship to those units.

Sorry I haven't read a lot of this thread but you could many of Renly's lords rubbish by giving them low levels and rubbish tactics. I'm saying this becuase a lot of them are supposed to be "summer knights" so it shouldn't be too unrealistic and in comparison Rob has the BlackFish and the Lannisters have Lord Tywin. Joining Stannis could just be a hard way to play that is alternative to being a rebel. And I assume it shouldn't be hard to become his Hand (or marshall.)

That doesn't seem logical to me.

ll be still occupied prolly till october, im trying to pass some internal promotion exams.
Stannis would be the same theme of Lannisters or Tyrell, and Stark\Iron Throne could be a mix of viking/medieval England/France style, im interested on that Dorne style can i see some pics of it?(or on any of the other factions for the matter)

hurleur- you the head of this thing now? objections whatsoever, just glad it´s moving again. If you need ideas for the factions you could use the preliminary stuff I uploaded to the repository, goes by "westerostroops". Lannister shouldn´t be a copy of England, since they´re described to emphase hvy cavalry and x-bows. Stannis would have about no cav, but seasoned mariner units, good all-round fellows. And the north some dark ages-medieval transitional army, mayby vikingish. Oh, and please keep the crannogmen. If you want any assistance, say the word.

Must be love. Great job. Have a look at how Sparehawk solved things with the lords and you´ll be there in no time. Appearantly, if a faction has too few lords, the engine responds by letting them hide in the castles, so try and keep the grand total roughly the same as in native.

Can´t see why you couldn´t have both foot and horse archers. Make the footmen better armoured to make horsemen skirmishers (and provide footies with a raison-d´être). Or just don´t guarantee horse.

I think i have resolve the problem of knights. I made a script and it works
Now when u owns a castle, u can now recruits a special unit.
_how must i name this unit?(for the moment i call it vassal)
_how many of this unit can we recruit at max?(for the moment i set 15)

If they are over the top troops 15 is fine, and Vassal is ok too, perhaps Bodyguard would be a better name or House Guard.( As in house Martell, Lannister,etc..)
EDIT: You should also take a look at the OSP armory item pack, might find a few useful items.
