Looking great, though I wonder if you also have new hoods and/or cloaks, and green and brown clothes for them:

Yeah, they'll get cloaks and hoods (thanks to Triglav, he helped me with that Smiley). The green part you can see over the leather is actually part of the cloak.

Yeahm, their ONLY use is for archers really. In real life anyway. - they protect you from the bowstring burning/smacking your forearms.

They're also very usefull against warg bites, never foget to bring them with you whenever you go shoot warg riders Green

That's one thing I never quite understood about them. Why then, would the lacing be on the inside?

It may not be an arm guard against the bowstring , as is worn by modern archers, but it is armor against attacks and the binding as shown would also keep the sleeve out of the bow workings.

Your modern archer (hello) would prefer to keep the lacing on the outside, but in a battle situation (ie, not modern) the lacing needs to be out of the way so as to still be protective against attackers, so the bottom of the arm is an ideal spot.
