Is it possible to recruit Eothain as an Elf?
No, You only get Eothain if you start as a man of Rohan.

Is it possible to recruit non-Elven lords as an Elf?
No, but if you get a rescue mission and find more imprisoned lords from other factions you can keep them in your party.

If Eothain is not recruitable, are there any other heroes that are not recruitable for Elves?
Yeah, everyone who's not an elf

Is there a list of recruitable heroes anywhere on the forum?
I don't think there is.

Let's fix the Uflas bug (for Gondor) as an example:
Go to line 210 in conversation.txt. Change, from the beginning to the first comma to:
Code:
dlga_hail_warrior._i_have_ 343 0 2 31 33555146 0 0 31 33555145 0 0 Hail,
Now you can recruit Uflas from the beginning, provided you have the experience points.
Can someone show me the unmodified line 210? I didn't make a back-up and It'll be hard to explain the process otherwise.
You mean this?
Code:
dlga_hail_warrior._i_have_ 345 0 3 31 33555146 0 0 31 33555145 0 0 31 33554740 3 0 Hail,_warrior._I_have_recently_recovered_from_wounds_sustained_in_an_orc_raid_and_am_just_now_returned_from_the_care_of_the_healers._It_would_be_long_before_I_could_rejoin_my_unit_as_they_are_far_afield._If_you_wish_I_could_seek_reassignment_with_you__for_a_time_and_so_find_orcs_to_slay_all_the_sooner._Though_as_you_are_a_man_of_Gondor,_it_will_require_some_influence_with_the_lords_to_arrange_my_assignment. 80 1 20033 33555145 1 0

DaBlade: exactly.
Before, you have this in line 210:
Code:
dlga_hail_warrior._i_have_ 345 0 3 31 33555146 0 0 31 33555145 0 0 31 33554740 3 0 Hail,
The first solid 3 (not the 345) indicates the number of conditions for this conversation to begin. One of the conditions is that you have faction points with Rohan. You only get that if you become a Rohan friend. Removing that condition and changing the 3 to a 2 fixes that.
Now, it looks like this:
Code:
dlga_hail_warrior._i_have_ 343 0 2 31 33555146 0 0 31 33555145 0 0 Hail,
All you need to do is find and replace.
You still need the required amount of influence to get him.
EDIT: I looked at the armory routine and does anyone know if anyone tried giving modifiers to the reward items?

I managed to recruit Ulfas, Malbung and Julute so far. They are not Elves as far as I can tell.
Another question. Is it possible to make a lord on the field go back to a city so that you can recruit him? Orophin is already dead in my game, and now Celeborn is somewhere in Gondor, annihilating Orcs and just waiting to get out of troops and die.
Other than Miriel, Elrond's sons, Glorfindel, Halrid and the three humans I already mentioned, is there any other hero I can recruit as an elf (without rescuing him/her)?

Yeah, I forgot about those three. It's been some time...
The answer to the rest of your questions is no. At least I don't remember any way to make the lords go back to their city. If Celeborn gets captured, go to Galadriel and get the quest to rescue him: you'll be able to keep him after you report back from the mission

Be warned though, Celeborn is a greedy bastard and demands thousands of gold coins per week as pay.

I did several "Kill enemy lord" missions and one rescue mission for Denethor and got Steward's Blessing trait which lets me hire experienced Gondor troops for norma fp cost and I can also hire Gondor lords. Nice. Back to the problem with limited number of troop types.

Until the hit-boxes can be modified, currently impossible.

I suspect that what I'm going to suggest isn't going to be possible without a new BRFedit, but, considering the fact that horses are going to be different sizes in the expansion, I'd be surprised if some clever modder couldn't make humans scalable too. The question is if it's going to be hard coded or not; it's kinda precluded that the hitboxes will have to be scalable.

Seeing as the last time Thorgim was on this forum was over a year ago, I say we need armagan to release the library and/or editor that underlines brf files.

Do you need anything special in order to be able to rescue an Isengarder prisoner as Orc of Mordor? I'm playing an Orc of Mordor and just got a rescue mission from Wormtongue. However, when I reached Isengard, there was only "Leave" option...nothing about rescue.

Are you sure you're suppoded be making that rescue at Isengard? If you are something went wrong.
